The Centre for Asian Music aims to develop knowledge and skill in playing Indian instruments, eg. harmonium and tabla, in an ensemble and to offer voice training in Hindustani music.  It is open to all ages, no previous experience is necessary and no auditions are required.

Under the guidance of experienced teachers and professional musicians, the music will present pupils with challenges while staying within their playing abilities.

Fees are charged as for instrumental lessons in schools, with a discount for pupils eligible for free school meals.  A different fee structure applies to adults or those who do not attend Croydon Local Authority maintained schools.
