Grade 5 Theory
Saturdays, 9.00am – 10.00am at
The grade 5 theory class prepares students for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Grade 5 Theory examination. The course normally lasts for two and a half terms. Those pupils who are ready will sit the exam in the third term. Those pupils not ready will repeat the course and sit the exam when advised by the course tutor.
Students are expected to attend regularly. Homework is set and marked weekly. Parents/carers are responsible for any examination fees. New students should be about Grade 4 standard or above on their instrument. The Creative Workshop at Croydon Young Musicians is an ideal preparation for the grade 5 theory class. Courses begin every 2 terms and new pupils will be advised of the next starting date. |
